Appointment 1 – Your First Customer!

family

This family need a house! They do not mind where they live but the children love playing outside. Dad has a car and does not mind having to do work to improve a house. Mum would prefer her children to live somewhere safe. They have a flexible budget but do want good value for money.

Green Award – Find a house that matches your customer’s needs. Blog once about why it is suitable and any other features that make it a good house to buy.

Silver Star – Find a house that matches your customer’s needs. Blog once about why it is suitable and any other features that make it a good house to buy. Your blog should be detailed. Also, respond to someone else’s blog – suggest why their chosen house might be unsuitable or why your choice is better. Make your comments constructive!

Gold Star – Find 3 houses that match your customer’s needs. Post a detailed blog about the 3 houses telling the customer of the good points of each one and stating what makes them different. Also, respond to two other people’s blogs – suggest why their chosen house might be unsuitable or why your choice is better. Make your comments constructive. To get a gold star your spelling and punctuation must be of an acceptable standard.

You have until Monday 11th November.

Good luck agents!

Welcome to S.H.I.E.L.D. 2013-14

Hello agents of S.H.I.E.L.D.

This year you are different agents – Estate Agents! Furthermore, S.H.I.E.L.D. stands for “Selling Houses is Easy: Lings Dreamhomes”. Over the next few weeks you will be given “appointments”. These are like your missions from last year. If you successfully complete an appointment you will achieve a “sale”. There will be 3 levels of sale – a green award, a silver star and, best of all, a gold star.

Right, let’s get warmed up. Over the past week you have been introduced to the houses database on the 2investigate section of Purplemash. Your first job is to blog about one house that you personally really like the look and sound of. You should blog about:

1. Why you like the house – appearance, condition, type of house, location, price and so on.

2. How does it suit the needs of you and your family? Number of bedrooms, size, garden, parking and so on.

3. What puts the chosen house ahead of others? Compare houses and say what makes one stand out.

Write as much as you need to. Remember – there is no right or wrong!

Take care with grammar and spelling.

Also, feel free to leave constructive comments about other people’s posts.

Happy house-hunting!
